Component Level Debug

Retronix is recognised by OEM & CEM customers worldwide as the best value PCB debug option. By combining our debug expertise with our component recovery service, we can maximise the $ recovery value from your production fallout. Our customers include:
Motorola, Ericsson, HP, Panasonic and NEC.

We have worked on the following products:

  • Cellular - GSM & CDMA

  • PC - Desktop, laptop & server

  • Set Top Boxes - Cable TV boxes, digital satellite receivers

We have a full range of repair and debug kit, from GSM test sets, Spectrum analysers to Processor Emulators.

Recycle & Reuse

To maximise returns from our debug cells, we utilise our component recovery service to reduce costs. We endeavour to repair at least 80-90% of the debug product we are given. However in every operation there is a % of any bone pile that will be scrapped off due to excess debug, physical damage or obsolescence.

We will remove the high value silicon (BGA, QFP) from these PCBs, electrically test them to prove they are good, and then refurbish them to ‘as new’ condition. These components will be then put back into the debug loop, for use in future repairs. By doing this we save you money in terms of purchasing spares (which can often be hard to find, and therefore expensive) and in the administration of the supply operation, ultimately driving down the $ cost of the repair.
