Tolerance Verification

To ensure conformity to the original manufacturers placement tolerances, we scan the repaired components to verify critical placement data. On leaded devices our systems verify Co-planarity, Pitch, Lead Deviation, Sweep and Slant, and on BGA devices we check Ball Quality, Ball Pitch, Ball Co-planarity and Ball Presence. This ensures your SMT placement machines will recognise the component as being ‘good’ and will ‘pick and place’. Our equipment can also look at the component and segregate by date code, manufacturer, part no. etc. It will verify Pin 1 orientation and automatically put the parts to Tape and Reel.

We also offer this as a stand alone service to customers who are looking for information only on placement tolerances, either due to supplier issues, or validation of parts which may have had handling issues.
